I flew Cali from Atlanta to Los Angeles with me a few weeks ago, and she was fine. She is about 3.5 lbs, and I had the medium sized Juicy carrier. I don't know the dimensions, however, it was a little tall for under the seat. Since it is soft, though, I just sorta smushed down the top. Going there, I took Cali out and let her sit in between me and my daughter. Nobody even knew she was out. Then on the way back, it was a red-eye flight, so she slept in her carrier the entire way. No problems at all. No barking. No crying. I'm sure I'll do it again.

Oh yeah, and I did bring food in with me, just hand fed her dry kibble. She was without water for a few hours, but still did fine.
