Just one other thing: If you sew through your finger, try not to faint before you back the needle out, cut the thread and put a bandaid on it.
I'm not being funny, I've done it 3 times in 30 years. Usually I make it to the bandaid part before I pass out.

I've got the thing out of it's box lol it's staring at me right now I've got 3 pieces of scrap fabric from Wal-Mart (two nice to try the doggie dress) and 1 not-so-nice so I'll use the not-so-nice one to try the stiches.

LOL I'll be okay w/ the no fainting (nurse here...seen wayyyyyyy worse lol), but I may be too much of a weenie to take the needle out and everything myself. Maybe I'll only sew when my boyfriend's here LOL
