In this day and age, due to the the internet, people have access to many sites and they an see the difference in prices according to location. Also with so many breeders shipping pups--it is very possible to get an animal that is very far from your home location--for a much lower price--depending on your home location.
Why would a breeder think that if someonr is offering less for an animal it is "devaluing" them, their animals or their breeding???
People pay what the market demands. If the market is lower in one state than another, and one chooses to go there---how is that devaluing an animal or a breeder???
Personally, we are a family that believes strongly in adoption. We have adopted kids and adopted animals. If we had to go through a more thorough investigation to qualify as parents of a yorkie vs our human kids--we would tell them--thanks, but no thanks!
Please, let us put things in the proper prespective! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 4 furbabies to the fullest. They are my babies. But I also have human children, and I am sorry, they rank higher than my beloved animals.
I agree with the previous poster that mentioned he/she finds some breeders on this site snobby. There are some breeders, that I would not even consider buying any animal from--because of this attitude.
