I am learning so much on YT. Much of it I have found to be very helpful and will use if I ever buy another Yorkie and also just in knowing that my little girl is a very typical Yorkie. However, we bought our little girl from a backyard breeder. We wanted a pet, have her spayed. The parents were also much loved pets, both on site. I know that this is considered a no-no in breeding. I think they bred her two or three times, and this was her last litter. She and the father were wonderful. Our little girl has had a few problems, one major, but we really don't know if it was due to breeding or something else. However, we are so glad that we have her. She is perfect in every way, about 7 pounds, cottony hair, not a show dog, but she does have the perfect little Yorkie face and has the real Yorkie personality. We paid $350. Yes, you heard me right! The ad said $400 or best offer. We offered $350, and they took it. I am afraid that we may never find one again because the more I read the more I know that I couldn't afford your dogs. However, I am a great Yorkie mom. Just ask my vet! We are her favorite clients! And no, not because she is always sick! All this said, if we want another pet quality Yorkie, can we get one without spending $$$$?
