Tink is pad trained. I use both the disposable and the reusable ones depending on my mood, her stomach, and the day's activities.
It was winter when I got Tink also. She just cried and cried when I tried to take her out, so I decided it would be easier and kinder to let her use the pads. Kinder to both of us as as ketters12 said in her post.
I have thought about training her to go outside as well. We'll see what this summer brings.
