Joey is breathing on his own, and he is in a little incubator. We were able to stick our hands through the incubator's door and pet him and I told him how much Mommy and Daddy love him. He wagged his tail and tried to stand, but he is so weak and he laid back down quicky. The vet emergency unit (a team of 5+ doctors who make the rounds 24/7) said that they are very impressed with how he has responded to his medicine, and that they think that Joey might be able to come home on Wednesday!!!!!!! He, of course, will be confined to his crate and except for peeing and eating, he will have to remain in his crate....oh, everyone....I feel like Joey has pulled through a miracle...there is still a chance that he might not pull through, but it sure seems that he is over the hump.
PLEASE keep your prayers coming - your prayers have HELPED so much!!!!! Please keep praying for little Jeoy - Joey needs your love so much. Thank you for caring so much.
