If I were you, I would just ask your in laws. Just tell them that he is very small and he is no trouble at all. Explain to them how great of a dog he is and that they won't even know he is there. Maybe you could have them meet him first so that they can fall in love with him. LOL There are very few people who can resist a Yorkie.
