Around here in my area there are some poor folks.
To them 700.00 to 1000.00 is like 1500.00 and 2500.00 dollars.
I have sold at a lower price, why because I wanted the best homes for my dogs/pups.
And, it was not because they couldn't afford Vet care..etc.
It's hard for most to have a big amount of money at one time.
But, after talking to a person and getting a good feeling about them.. it's worth it to me to coming down on the price a bit.
Case in point a single lady on a fixed income had always loved and want a yorkie but they were out of her price range.
I had at the time a young female bred once, spayed and retired do to whelping problems.
I talk to this lady several times and got to know her.
She asked if there was anyway I would take less for her, and I did.
I'm still friend with this woman today and the female I placed with her is spoiled rotten...
Did I lose money on the deal "YES"...but it was worth it.
