Therapy dog does require to pass a 2 part test to get certified. After your dog is certified you and your dog both get a ID stating that your dog is a therapy dog. Delta also insure your dog for liability. Then you and your dog can bring a little bit joy into peoples life when you go visit them. What do you think?
That may be an option too. I was thinking that, all the articles I read talk about how intelligent toy breeds can be, and I would love to be able to train my pooch in helping others. It would take a lot of time & effort, so Therapy Dogs may be great too. My mom is disabled (blood disorder) and is really depressed sometimes, so I was thinking to bring my pup over to visit her lots....this may be the ticket for her spirits!
