When we walk our furbabies, of course they walk on the ground, but if we're taking them shopping or anything like that, we need the stroller
It's not practical to carry an 11 lb yorkie in a carrier on one shoulder and a 3.8lb maltese in a carrier on the other shoulder. I think strollers are wonderful to take to crowded places and shopping.
