i agree, telling them "no bite" in a loud firm tone does get their attention. To add to this, i would say "no bite" and then get up and walk away from playing with the pup and completely ignore him. Then after a few minutes get back down on the floor and start playing again. if he bites again do the same thing. say no bite and then get up or turn away so he can't play with you. Do this each time. He will learn that if he bites then he doesn't get to play with mommy or daddy anymore. OR after saying no bite, replace your hand with a toy for him to bite. You can redirect his biting to something more appropriate to play with.
