I'm not going to be much help - but I did have a Jack Russell who HATED all other male dogs. My Jack was neutered, but he never became trustworthy with other male dogs - except for our old male schnauzer whom we had when we got Jack as a puppy. When my husband got sick and could no longer walk him and play with him regularly, we had to rehome him, so I don't know if he ever got over the "other male dog" syndrome. Oh and he would also kill a cat - we could never trust him around any cat at all!!

I have a friend who does Jack Russell rescue and when she gets in a new Jack rescue, she just "wears" him/her on a leash for the first few days - even in bed at night, if he/she con't tolerate the crate. She just clips the leash to her belt/loop. You might have to try that, if he can't be trusted.
