He looked at her and said she looks obviously pregnant, BUT he doesn't think she is. He said she did have babies roughly 7 weeks ago, she's still drying up, and doing great. No mastitis or anything.

He said it's POSSIBLE that she's pregnant again, but if she is, it's too early to tell. He thinks she's so big because she's been bred over and over and her muscles just stay that way now. He does not feel any babies though. If she is newly pregnant, which we doubt, she's not far enough along to tell by either sonogram or x-ray. He thinks she's just a puppymill dog who's been bred over and over and just had a litter.

She has ear mites - we got meds for that and are going to be treating it. Her right knee luxates a little, and her left is perfectly fine. She does not have fever, either. Her teeth need some work - she has a couple loose teeth that need to be pulled and a couple broken teeth (not sure what they'd do with those, but that's what he said). She's been poorly nutritioned, neglected, and likely physically abused. He is overall happy with her health though under the circumstances.

We got meds for the earmites. Her knee is probably fine, but it does luxate some. Her teeth need cleaned and some pulled. Otherwise, she's a good, healthy dog who will probably have some years on her if someone can give her the TLC that she needs.

The puppymill said she's current on her shots until next month - but they told us so many lies, I'm not sure I believe that. If I were getting her, I would start over just to be sure. They also didn't have any papers showing her shot record.

We've spent $250 on her now - that's all we're asking for a rehoming fee, and I'm more than happy to meet someone somewhere or you can come here. Unlike the people I got her from, I have nothing to hide.
Well thats good news. But always thought that breeding them over and over and just having a litter she would be on the skinnt side instead of heavy, I mean with it taking a toll on her body, But Im sure the vet knows more.
It was great of you to take her in and then turn around and have her vet checked, you are a very caring person. as for the ear mites. make sure you clean all the blankets and stuff shes been laying on and I hope your other pets does not catch them. I hope you find her the loving home she so much deserves.
