This is really classified as Tex- Mex but it always goes first when I take it to gatherings.......
Tex- Mex Dip
1/2 c. Hellman's mayo. ( can be low fat)
1c. sour cream ( can be low fat)
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
Use 3/4 of the seasoning packet & mix in mayo. & Hellman's, set aside.
2 cans refried beans
Use the other 1/4 packet in the beans, spread beans in a 8x11 in casserole dish.
Spread the mayo. mix on top of beans.
16oz. sharp cheddar cheese
3 tomatoes, chopped
1-2c. black olives, sliced thin
scallions, sliced thin
Put toppings on in this order.Serve w/ tortilla chips or Fritos. Can be made the day before or in the morning.
