When Penny had problems she had not used the restroom in a long time either, maybe 12 hours or so. I knew something was up, but when I saw her use the restroom, the blood was dripping down her hair in the back. I freaked and called the vet.
It didn't continue all the time, just when she used the restroom and maybe for a bit after. Definitely not a continual bleeding, though
