I have been putting it off since I just haven't been looking forward to surgery. She is 7 mths old right now, and not a tiny so it shouldn't be too dangerous. Any suggestions about how I should prepare for this? I have heard about different types of collars and clothes to keep her away from her stitches. I want to keep her comfortable-- she goes in in the morning and I pick her up that afternoon so I will have her at home that first night.

I have to do this but really dreading it!
