I am very worried about our 2-year-old yorkie Buddy. He had terrible diarrhea on Sunday & Monday, so we got 2 medicines from the vet on Tuesday. The vet prescribed an antibiotic & another medicine (Centrine) for the symptoms. The problem now is that Buddy hasn't pooped since we gave him the meds! I am getting very worried. I discontinued the Centrine, as per the vet's instructions, but they said we should bring him in if he doesn't poop by Friday afternoon. Has anybody had a problem with Centrine or Metronidazole (that's the antibiotic)?
