My six month old is constantly scratching at his ears.
I've checked them & there's no sign of ear mites or any infection & they smell sweet. I'm fairly familiar with ear problems as I've owned & bred a different breed for 30+ years & dealt with odd things over the years.
I was wondering if it might be because he's teething & replacing puppy teeth with his adult ones, though it's never made any of my other dogs scratch their ears. My son used to rub his ears a lot when teething as a baby!
