Good luck Patty....having had bad knees all my life, I completely sympathise ! Sneak the dog to the window of your ward if it on ground floor, or get a doggy bag, lol....if he's quiet, who would know ???
p.s to make you feel a wee bit better, my pal had that done, and it was fine....a lot better once she got the movement back, and just remember not to be scared to ask for pain relief to be written up on your notes - ask your Consultant when you see him before the op ! If it's written up, they can't refuse !
