There's a place in Key West called Mallory Square. They do a big sunset celebration every day. Lots of street vendors. I had my fortune read. It's very cute.
Duval street is the bar street. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is fun but I actually ran into him at a bar called "Sloppy Joes". There's a lot of shopping there, too.
Hemingway's house is there, too... Like a museum now.
There's a trolley that will take you on a tour. I would suggest it if you're interested in the area.
My big suggestion is to stay away from chain restaraunts... Key West has amazing local flavor. It continues to be my favorite vacation spot-- you can be chill or party it up. |
