I have mixed feelings on his methods. First, I would never pull up on a collar when it comes to small dogs. I think harnesses are best. Next, his belief is dogs are dogs and should be treated as such. I think dogs are as different in behavior and personality as people, and we need to find what works for the individual dog. I tried one of his methods on my Rottie and got bit in the face. Not good!
I'll stick with Tamar Gellers methods. She uses a very gentle approach that works, and the dogs she trains seem much happier than do Cesars. Just my take on it all and not to open a debate.
