Sounds normal to me! One of my boys was like that, the other was fine, like nothing happened! Let your vet know that he is very sensative to the shot and they will give him a dose of pain meds before his next shot so he won't be quite so miserable next time.
Just my experience, my little guy was sensative to his shots and the vet gave them spread out one a week for 3 weeks... well the next time he had them he was bigger and the vet thought he'd be fine. He ended up having an allergic reaction, nothing major but scary for me! He was swollen, had hives and had red puffy eyes. Had to get him some childrens benedryl. He'll never get more than 1 shot at a time ever again!
