You may have scared her off by telling her you don't give dogs away like clothing!
I'm sure someone will give those babies a good home. If I had known she was giving them away, I would drive to Bakersfield or where ever she is and pick them up myself. I have a freind who is looking for another small pupster. She's retired and lives alone.
