I feed my yorkie a half cup of Science Diet a day. He's 5 months and about 4 lbs now. He also gets a teaspoon of olive oil, about a tablespoon of meat baby food, and some vitamin E. He was underweight when we got him, and he's about right now, so I'll be feeding him between 1/4-1/2 cup here soon.

Be aware that treats can have tons of calories. If you have treats, break up one or two to feed him throughout the whole day. A regular treat to a lab can be a meal for a yorkie. It is important to keep your baby in a good weight range to avoid joint problems and promote general healthiness. Puppies do need more food though. What kind of food are you giving him? For a two lb, less than 4 month old puppy, 1/2 cup of quality food will be plenty. If she's half that size, then 1/4 cup should work. Feed 3-4 times a day and consider putting a bit of Kayro syrup in her water if she is real tiny -- to prevent hypoglycemia.
