Feeding time at our house is hectic. We have to keep the cat food on my dresser out of reach of the dogs, Luca Dean's gets supervised feeding time -- sometimes I put him in his kennel to eat if there's a lot going on. My lab mix is overweight and has diet food we put in a ball that she has to roll around (exercise). We've taught the others they don't get to play with the ball. Then we have a terrier mix that gets fed 2x/day -- puppy food -- but he's so protective of his kibble no one goes near him. I try feeding Luca Dean (my yorkie) and Hank (terrier mix) in separate rooms, but Hank always snarfs his down and comes to try and steal from Luca Dean's bowl. It's tough, but necessary, b/c Luca Dean gets supplemented food. I dream of the day they'll all eat together, the same food, from one huge dog bowl.
