When Obie and I go to visit my mom and her big old cat, the four of us share the same big bed. Obie normally tries to chase cats but my mother's big old Elmo won't run, just looks at Obie as if to say, "Silly little dog, you can run around all you want to, just leave me out of it." The two animals have distinct territories on the bed. Elmo sleeps over on the other side of my mom and hisses if Obie gets too close. |
