 Maddie is Hurt!
When I came home from work today, my boyfriend told me that Maddie had hurt her leg. He was throwing the ball for her in the grass and suddenly she started picking up her left front leg. I picked her up and checked her over and quickly saw that her dew claw, which normally is close to her arm, was perpendicular to her arm! It seems to be hurting her, because she is limping on that leg a little. She also is licking at her dew claw. I know I'm going to bring her to the vet for this.
But I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen? Maddie is almost 16 months now so is it too late to have her dew claws removed? |
