Sadly my Mom passed away in March and she was so hard to buy for as she never wanted much. A few months before she died she kept saying to me that she felt so bad that I had to take care of them and she could never repay me. I really didn't want her to feel that way as she had done so much for me, like watching my dtr from 6 weeks until she was 6 years old so I could work full time. So I got a beautiful card and wrote how i felt and how I could never repay her etc. When I was going thru her things the other day I found the card in her nightstand drawer. She never kept cards so I knew she appreciated the card. So I would say put in writing how you feel about her and then get her something personal she would like. Maybe a locket, family portrait. |
