I pluck Zoe's ear myself, she flinches a bit not a big deal. Normally, she goes to a regular groomer every 6 weeks and she gives her the works but doesn't do the ears. I think some people use some sort of power to alleviate the plucking.
I don't see how it's much different from us plucking our brows or even waxing. I have my brow waxed and it hurt initially but you get used to it.
