This sounds a lot like my Gizmo and she was 3 years old in March. She gets a black stripe down her back at the roots for about an inch long and then it changes back to a dark silver stripe down the part on her back . When she was younger the top of her head was almost a white and now it is a light tan but her gold areas have seemed to deepen in color which I really like. I wish her head was white again I really liked it like that.
