Hi everyone. I am new here and hope to meet and talk to other yorkie lovers. I have Minnie, she is 5 yr. old girl. She is my joy as I get home from work and get greeted by a very happy and full of energy furry girl. She is my first dog ever so I had a lot to learn, now I wonder how I ever lived without her.
Life has been good with Minnie, she is a perfect lap dog with enough energy to get her of my bed, she thinks is hers
. She, like most little yorkies has a problem, her is intestinal. Eats low residue, but still gets sick if she gets into something! For the past month she has been sick because she found something yummy in my daughters garbage. Went to the vet, 2 diff. antibiotics, the 2nd gave her an allergic reaction and I decided to go see a holistic vet. She went back on antibiotic 1 and EN diet. So far so good.
The vet wants her to stop the low residue and due EN perhaps forever - I wanted to get her into more natural foods (wellness or Solid Gold)
Has anyone experienced the EN diet for long periods of time?
