I would say that he does not view you as pack leader. He doesn't respect you.
There are a few things you cn try. first of ally, you kee to be keeper of all things good, food, treats, even toys. you do the feeding and handing out the treats.
And second, you need to eat before the dog, and in front of the dog. You could even pretend to eat some of his food out of his dish before you give it to him. this will make him realize that your status in the pack, is above his.
Third, do not give him his food until he does something to earn it, such as sit and stay. Don't give him food when he is jumping or barking and demanding it.
