Sorry to hear about your puppy.My girl had a grade 3 LP and other than some limping once in a while did good. I put her on a chondroitin and joint supplement which seemed to help quite a bit. The vet I am with usually doesn't recommend surgery, first thing especially with a puppy (a lot of times they outgrow it) unless they are totally lame. Hope this helps.
