My sis's Pom had 1 leg done last Nov-no problems & the other one was just done 5 weeks ago. She had to take her to the Univ. of MO veterniary clinic in Columbia, MO I think it was around 1800., per knee. The pin in the 2nd surgery will have to come out in another 2 weeks, she was experiencing lifting her leg & only walking on 3 so my sis took her back yesterday for xrays. She was less than a year old when diagnosed & is now 2 years old. They do not get better without surgery - but we never heard amputation.
