Sounds to me your hubby was very lucky. My mail carrier told me she opened a mailbox & a pigmy rattlesnake was in there & she got bit. She warned me to be careful, that they'll climb in their to stay out of the sun. I've only seen blue racers so far in our yard that are about 4 feet.
I hate snakes, but I know they keep the rodent population down. |
