I think it depends a lot on the size of your little girl. During surgery, bigger is better, and thats why a lot of people wait until six or seven months. Ask your vet, he knows your girl's medical history, etc, and will give you the perfect time to spay your baby...as long as he's a responsible vet experienced with yorkies and little dogs.
