Hi all,

My male adopted Yorkie Alfie has shown very strong signs of fear aggression towards me but not my partner. We have had him since September last year and this has been going on the whole time we have had him. If he does something bad and we tell him off he will attack me by biting me. He only has 3 teeth so it doesn't hurt much. We have never shown any form of aggression towards him. If he does something really bad then we will tell him off. He has never once bit my partner. He is about 14 and we were wandering if this is to do with his past. He obviously had been beaten before and we believe he was thrown out. Is there something about me reminding him of his past??

Any suggestions on how we may be able to over come this would be greatly appreciated. Even though he only has 3 teeth there was one occasion where he bit me with one and wouldn't let go.
