Just wanted to give you guys an update on C-Bear. She went back to the doctor yesteday and had to stay for the day
They had to re-sedate her to take more x-rays and to redo her sling, as the leg was starting to drop down some in the old sling. The leg is staying in the socket, which is great news. The new sling has her leg wrapped up really tight next to her body and she looks like she only has three legs!! We worry that with it wrapped so tight like that she will feel cramped, but the vet assures us that she won't and it has to be like this for at least one and maybe two more weeks. She just looks so pitiful hopping around on those 3 legs, but she does pretty well, I am amazed. She is finally starting to eat and drink, especially drink, we were having to syringe water into her...but now she will drink on her own. She is so very needy, wants to be held 24/7, which would be fine, if we weren't in the middle of moving. The four day car ride across the country will really be good for her, as she can just be still and lay in Mommy's lap!
Anyway, just wanted to give everyone an update, the computer will be packed up today, so I have probably a whole week of no YT, but I did want to let everyone know how she was doing, and thank everyone again for all the good thoughts, prayers and well wishes!!
