That is much toooo late to start. You go by several factors..the bitch should be swollen and the color should be very light pink to straw color. Try the first breeding at 10 days..no luck, try each day..AM and PM. I perfer 10 to 12 for a first day breeding, then I breed, as a rule...11, 12, and 14. Stroke the back leg of the female and she should turn her tail..a good sign when she is flagging.
A tie is just that a tie..it may result in a litter and may not, most often it does.
