i don't know what to do about the flight but check what you need to have to bring a dog into the states: health certificate, vaccine record, any gov. forms you need to fill out, and check to see if you need to put your girl in quarantine when you are (horrible idea i know!)
AND don't forget to have the things that you'll need to COME back to germany (doc, forms, etc...)
I know i've considered bringing my puppy back with me to the states but it was so much hassle and he'd have to be in quarantine for 3 weeks! it wasn't worth only a 2 weeks stay in the US....
