First of all, I would never use Hartz, it has been known to cause even worse reactions. And I am not crazy about Advantix either as there have been problems with it as well.
I would suggest going with all natural flea preventatives. I am going to be trying that as well with my cocker spaniel as she has an allergy to flea medicine, not nearly as bad as yours had.
I can't believe that your vet said it was because you gave her half the dose. And then wanted you to bring her in so he could expose her to it again!!:eek And what he said about no other alternatives is a big lie. I think it is time to switch vets, he honestly doesn't sound like a good vet. |
