I don't do anything to the outside of Baby's ears. I like them with all the hair. Her ears stand up with no problem. The only hair I remove from her ears is in the inside. Here is a few pics of her crazy hairy ears!

This is what Baby's ears looked like when I first got her. They had been shaved by the breeder to help them stand. I guess it worked well because they are doing well!
