I got my Prince about 2 months ago. His first night in the crate he cried a lot because he slept with me his first 3 nights here. When he started to cry that first night, I would ignore him (as hard as it was) I would tell him "No Prince, sleep" Never would I go to him while he was crying. In about 2 days he got the idea what "sleep" meant and would stop crying at night when I told him to sleep.

I'm always worried that he'll develop a fear of water as my mom's terrier has, so i'm weary of spraying him with water as punishment.
