I hope the medicine works. That sounds terrible.

He said it could be reverse sneezing or allergies but it might be asthma. He gave me a bottle of tablets cut in fourths. the prescription bottle is kinda light typing and wore down but it looks like it is called aminophyline, not sure from the p over exactly how its spelled. anyway, it is for her to take 3 times a day. I gave them to her for about 3 days and she just quit and hasnt been having any more problems since that, till yesterday. Last night she had 2 or 3 bad spells with her breathing. I gave her one yesterday evening, when she first started
it again. I gave her two today and i'll give her another at 8 pm. I hope this clears it up in a couple of days like before. If not and she dont get better, Im gonna have to take her back I guess and have them test her for allergies or asthma. She really gave me a scare 2 times last night and we made her sleep with us last night just to make sure we heard her if she had any spells during the night. We usually put her in her zip bed at night during the week and shes just started sleeping with us on weekends this past month. Hubby was scared she would wake up when he did so early in the morning to go to work and not want to go back to bed. But she didnt this morning. he said she was laying curled up in a little ball at my chest and thats where she was when I woke up about 8 . she was still snoozed out. she hasnt had spells as bad today so i'm hoping the medicine works . But if anyones dog does it bad, my advice is take them on to the vet and dont just hope its reverse sneezing. at least maybe you'll get some medicine for it or you might not worry as bad. I know It still scared me when she does it bad. |
