That's ridiculous that your vet said that only giving her half caused her reaction...Obviously your dog had a bad reaction to it, why would the vet suggest putting her through that again? The fact that you only gave her half is not what caused her to have a reaction like that. Many vets actually do say to only give half if they're really small dogs. Some dogs have bad reactions to some of those flea and tick medications...
