How do I teach the quiet command, though? It's not like she barks all the time, just sometimes when she does, it's really embarrassing.... and terribly inappropriate. I would think that I would have to encourage her to bark first before I could tell her quiet.... What is the proper way to teach the quiet command? Thanks!
