Calcium Oxalate Stones Yorkieluv, For some reason he keeps producing the calcium oxalate stones which don't respond well to diet change like the struvite stones, so he has to be monitered (urinalysis, etc) which I have down to a science collecting his urine sample!! This is his third surgery and he is only 5 years old. I am trying the potassium citrate in his food to see if that will help inhibit the formation of the stones. I have a very wonderful caring veterinarian and a husband (who did not want a dog) that will do anything for him! What did you do for your little ones stones??
