Take a blanket that's about 2 or 3 feet square so you can put her on your lap and cover your shoulders letting it cover her too. She will love being in your lap and will probably be very quiet. Take the Rescue Remedy and give her four drops 45 minutes before the flight. It's all natural and will calm her. I wouldn't be feeding her much if anything at all before hand. Just a little water. It doesn't hurt dogs to go 24 hours without food. Put a wee-wee pad in her carrier and take some extras.
How exciting for you. Wish I was traveling. Make sure she has a health certificate. Don't know what the rules are as to how long before you leave to get this, but most are only 3 days.
