I am almost 60 years old, and have just now started breeding, for a hobby, just have the pleasure of improving my own breeding program.
I doubt if I will ever produce a show dog, and even if I thought I had a show quality, I will never know because I don't intend to show. |
Jeannie that is fine to be a hobby breeder that improves the breed.
But, you did come out on the attack on show breeders asking what they are afraid of, and, when a statement like that is made in generalities against show breeders.....mmmmmmm I usually don't come out that strongly, but this time I couldn't hold back.
As I've said in the past, I'm not here to judge or to alienate but to help.....I don't believe that everyone is cut out to show, but I do believe if you breed you should do so with the desire to improve and protect the beed.
By the way I'm 60 too......
