Well, yes.... "just water" for humans is boring but dogs are different. I've always heard not to give dogs anything but water. Even with cats, it's not good to give them milk but I've heard of people doing it all the time. Many people say that dog food must be "boring" to dogs too but I think it's us, the humans, that have that opinion. Dogs only know to eat what you feed them. I'm no expert though so it'll be interesting to see if someone knows differently.
